“The journey is a hard one. In the USA a set-back like that is considered a learning curve which has a positive effect for the traders who can bounce back.
.. those who have walked this road in the UK have found it more of a challenge. My own experience is that what I learnt in my first company – and yes particularly the mistakes – were worth more to me in my second venture into entrepreneurship than the money I lost and the prevailing negative attitude of the business community which prevailed at that time.
I brought my knowledge to market for the second time back in 1985 and am still here today to tell the story. Lessons learned the hard way are never forgotten.
Think positive, leave the blame culture to others and move forward with conviction.
And here’s a little thought – Success is not an objective measure.”
